cureCADASIL is planning a half-day Patient-Investigator Meeting to be held at the United Leukodystrophy Foundation (ULF) Scientific Symposium and Family Conference, June 23 – 24, Eaglewood Resort & Spa, Itasca, Illinois (Family Conference – United Leukodystrophy Foundation (ulf.org) There have been several major grants recently awarded to fund research in CADASIL, and cureCADASIL is inviting these investigators to explain their studies and meet the patients! The meeting will be both in-person and virtual, and will offer an opportunity for patients and family members to learn first-hand what research is being conducted and to discuss and ask questions in informal, open sessions. Everyone will also be able to attend other sessions at the meeting to learn what is happening with research in other rare diseases. In addition, there will be ample opportunity for patients and families to meet with each other during meetings, breaks, evening meals and ULF-planned activities. Details will follow shortly.
