Please join the CADASIL Consortium on Wednesday, November 20 at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET. Laura Eisenmenger, MD, will lead the webinar entitled MRI in CADASIL: What are We Imaging and Why? Dr. Eisenmenger is a neuroradiologist at the University of Wisconsin. Her research is on MRI development and implementation with a focus in vascular imaging, including investigating the role of vascular health, vascular aging, and vascular disease on the brain. She is the lead neuroradiologist in the CADASIL Consortium where she recently received National Institutes of Health grant funding to study the vascular system in CADASIL using advanced MRI techniques. This webinar will discuss MRI in general, explain the MRI methods we are using specifically for the CADASIL Consortium study, and conclude with discussing the advanced vascular imaging in her CADASIL grant as well as other future areas of research.
