Who Can Enroll:

  • Patients with CADASIL ages 18 and older
  • Healthy adults ages 18 and older

What is involved:

  • General health assessment and evaluation
  • Laboratory tests
  • An MRI of the brain
  • An eye exam
  • An optional skin biopsy
  • An optional lumbar puncture
  • Non-invasive tests of blood flow and tissue perfusion
  • Cognitive testing

Compensation will be provided to study participants. All appointments take place at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
