Please join the CADASIL Consortium on Wednesday, October 23, 2pm PT/4pm CT/5pm ET for our upcoming webinar on retinal imaging and its use to assess neurodegenerative diseases. The CADASIL Consortium has recently been awarded a grant to implement retinal imaging into our study assessments. Our webinar speaker, Dr. Jessica Alber of University of Rhode Island/Butler Hospital, conducts research investigating the potential to use retinal imaging as a screening tool for early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Performed during a routine eye exam, the retinal screening technique could help provide a low-cost, minimally invasive way to detect Alzheimer’s disease before symptoms appear. Dr. Alber will be discussing the how retinal imaging is used, and its implications to further assess CADASIL diagnosis.
